7.2 The Sycamore guild
The guild of plants around this large sycamore currently includes two plants not wanted: bush honeysuckle and multiflora rose. But do want the mulberry that's now about 15 feet tall. Another one is buried in the bush honeysukle on the other side. Not sure what will best work in this area.
Read MoreThis area is defined by paths to the north and south of a large sycamore and a good sized persimmon tree about 30 feet away. There's also a couple of mulberry trees coming up, along a massive invasion by bush honeysuckle. in the left background of this image you can see the green that is the winter creeper vine. That is probably spreading into the sycamore area as I write.

But within 3 months, they grew back to head height. Nonetheless the natives thrived because the main shade was ony the sycamore.

The mulberry in the north west corner of this area puts out lots of them, even though quite small still.
