I think go with RR tie. I do need a hardstand somewhere for working on vehicles and this would be a good location, but would have to actually do a pour for the whole lot, just this part would interfere with parking. Problem is that without concrete, nature has the upper hand and someone has to be constantly on the look out for plant invaders.
first exposure to daylight after initial cleaning
The initial cleaning off of the glue that held these pieces in place needed pics and small brushes. Still some left, plus more of the cardboard still to get out from where trapped. One effect not anticipated was that the glue line I had laid down would show. Perhaps I had intended, subconsciously. Mostl likely will try to fil those lines with colored epoxy as well as doing a coat over the whole vertical surface. A challenge for a medium that like sto self-level.
