Checking back to see how direct application of 18% round up is working. I had injected a cc or so directly into the soft stem on a couple of these, and it is having an effect a day later. I also did the poison ivy behind them, poking up between the trees, and it doesn't look too happy either, leaf discoloration. However, it hasn't killed it, yet.

Checking back to see how direct application of 18% round up is working. This monster SE of the swing cedar had two doses of 18% directly inot cuts I made in the base of the trunk. It's happily flowering, only one branch showing any effects from the poison. And underneath it, a solid covering of winter creeper! In the background, you can see the brown leaves of the lower part of the winter creeper on the cedar. Cuts made near the bottom with chain saw and ax and dosed with the poison. But the leaves further up are still happy...
