This is not my drawing and I can't find where I found it, most likely Facebook. These are not the names I learned. but both the names and postures are very similar to what I learned and then later used as warm ups to my classes.

This is where students, including me, work on precise stepping. Also mirrors on two sides.

In the summer, the south deck is mostly hidden behind the bald cypress trees. The pines are in an area called the circle and the distant cedar is called the split cedar. In the midle distance right is a pile that will become a bonfire at an appropriate time. The field was mowed in a spiral early last summer and we may try that again if we get reasonably even grown. Bunches of black locust coming up that need immediate removal if this is to remain a field. Chop and drop them over along the edges to add to the biomass.
This log pile is near the eastern edge of the rest, with a few smaller trees that have come up since the pile was created when the lagoon was created. The forest edge is a great place to find the richest diversity of life -- including ticks.
This part of the log also has what I think is lichen.
This scotch pine was planted around 2003 o so. The needles turn brown and then later on will turn green again. It's possible those are contrails, but there have been much fewer contrails during this coronavirus thing. So far, only a little less highway traffic.
Planted in 2003 or so; steady but slow growth.
This Japanese visitor has been on the west side of the little grove going on 20 years now. Every spring one of the earliest splashes of color next to the parking area.
