This part is giving me all kinds of kinks and pains since scaffolding is too high to stand, and too low to sit. And too much work, as in at least a couple of hours, to change the level by myself.

This drop of small redish brown things that almost look like small pinecones. Last week, blowing pollen; this week, in one night, they all fell.
Baptisa australis, also known as blue bell. I suppose this is on the purple side of blue.
The yellow behind are pumpkin flowers. The dees stood still and watchinged as I came down the stairs and videod. evne let me say good morning. didn't run away, just ambled away.

Most of the other pines planted the same year are over 15 feet tall now. This one gets a lot of shade most of the day from overhead combination of black locust and rough leaf dogwood. On the other hand, it is still coming along, and once I get the bush honeysuckle out, should get a bit more light.

Future art: redwood slab table
I bought this slab in 1997 or so at an auction in southern Missouri. It is redwood and has been laying up against this shed wall since it was built in 2001 or so. Appears to be sound, even though quite a bit of moss or lichens are growing on the other side.
Whatever grows on redwood is happy here.
This slab has been out in the Missouri weather for over 20 years.
This battery powered mower can pull really heavy loads, even with low traction lawn tires. I like to use this two inch wide strapping that is used to bundle skids of lumber. Being flat and wide makes it easy to untie the knots after pulling.

We had 2.5 inches in a few hours and about 8 hours later some finally came in this way. So the ditching we've been doing on the south side is working. But needs to work better. Didnt record the northwest corner and north side where a lot came in. Clearly need to reork foundation dirt along norht side.
Some of the native wildflowers planted last year came back. This is one of those blurred by doing a quick shot situations where I keep it because of the content.
It volunteered itself a few years ago and I've been encouraging it. There are several others on the place for the deer to eat.
