Did not plant this, but I suspect it came up from our previous place in compost. In any case, as with most non-grafted peach trees, the fruit is small, tough and basically inedible, even if it does have a peach taste and smell. I have had to cut this back multiple times, as it was sharing a fungus with a hawthorn that I have since removed.

Planted in 2019 from pots from Missouri Wildflowers Nursery. Does seem to have overwintered just fine. Next is to protect them from the aggressive grasses. I do think one of these photos shows a bit of spreading going on.
