Current inventory Panoramas
The ones I've uploaded are the ones where I have studied the image carefully and annotated the areas visible from that observation point. The most enjoyable part of this study is looking at the images in full resolution, where the details let me observe how the plants are interacting.
In this initial inventory, I'm taking my time to enjoy viewing the panoramas at full resolution and observing what's going on in more detail. As I study the images and compare what I see with my physical visits to the place, I identify and name features that I want to track.
The panoramas taken from the observation points closer to the house, zone 1, receive quite a bit more attention than the others.
When I complete annotation of the features I want to track, I make sure the spreadsheets are updated and I shrink the image down to the 100 MP max this site allows and upload them.
I have turned on the original size viewing, but these files are quite large and will take a long time to load.
Formal inventory of areas (red) and features (yellow) visible from this observation point. Details about the areas and features can be found at http://www.redwoodtwig.com/TheArtGarden/AreaFeaturePlant At this stage, no individual plants are in the inventory, though some of the features relate to a single tree or pair of trees.
OP 102 Big Field West Winter 2014-15
OP 102 is located just east of the twin cedars on the western side of the big field. From here in the winter there is a clear view into the south and east yards as well as into the east field and the barn area to the south. (This is one of the first inventory panos I made but I'll let it go for having good enough content, even if technically it's not very good at all)
