Brandon Smith (Redwoodtwig)
20.1 Bald Cypress Mint
The western side makes a wonderful place to sit during hot days, and even in the middle of summer evenings, when the setting sun shines hot and bright everywhere, the shade from the next one keeps it cooler. Also good spacing between this one and the next one for a hammock.
I think the way to work with this guy is let the half facing southeast grow more or less as it will, weeding out the bush honeysuckle, winter creeper, poison ivy, persimmon and black locust as they appear.
Set it up so I can keep the western part a sitting area rather than a growing area.
What else goes with mint that would be happy under here?
