20.1 Bald Cypress Mint - Redwoodtwig

Brandon Smith (Redwoodtwig)

The south and east sides of this bald cypress have low hanging branches, and under the southeast corner have planted some mint that is doing fine.

The western side makes a wonderful place to sit during hot days, and even in the evening, the shade from the next one keeps it cooler. Also good spacing between this one and the next one for a hammock.
I think the way to work with this guy is let the half facing southeast grow more or less as it will, weeding out the bush honeysuckle, winter creeper, poison ivy, persimmon and black locust as they appear.
Set it up so I can keep the western part nice mown grass to sit on.

What else goes with min that would be happy under here?
