These peaches are from a volunteer peach tree that took several years to bear. This is the first year I was able to let them ripen this much because I sprayed deer repellant on the tree. There are hundreds of them, and many of these peaches have only slight surface blemishes that do not go into the flesh. Their taste is fanstastic, howeer the texture is not at all like store bought peaches, much chewier. The flesh is mainly white and does not separate easily from the pit.
